the rain in spain falls mainly on the plane. i’ve always hated this saying, because growing up in the north of spain we get more annual rainfall here than they do in the city of london. overcast skies are great light sources, and that works to my advantage a lot of the time, but rescheduling sessions is definitely a regular occurrence here. but what happens when you can’t reschedule and the rain won’t go away? well, you go out and you play, of course.

jemina and roope were such good sports braving the cold and the rain. maybe because it’s really not nearly as cold as it is in their native finland, but still. i am truly grateful for their adventurous spirit and love the way the rain and umbrellas made this session come out pretty magical in the end.
